Steps to Setup Android SDK on Windows

Steps to setup Android SDK on Windows:-

Install Android SDK Download Link or Download Android Studio Package or Just Copy SDK folder shared by anyone .

If you don’t have SDK folder then you have to just install the  installer_r16-windows.exe .By default it will be installed in C:/Program Files/Android. You have to just copy the folder and paste it to some other drive.  e.g.:- D:/SDK (Recommended)

Setup “Tools” in system variable:-

  1. Select path of the system variable
  2. Click on edit.
  3. Pass “D:/SDK/tools;” value separated with semicolon “;
  4. Click “OK

Setup “Platform Tools” in system variable:-

  1. Select path of the system variable
  2. Click on edit.
  3. Pass “D:/SDK/platform-tools; “value separated with semicolon “;
  4. Click “OK

Setup “ANDROID_HOME” in system variable:-

  1. Go to System Variable
  2. Click on “New“
  3. Enter Variable Name : ANDROID_HOME
  4. Enter Variable Value : D/:SDK”

Android_HOME

Restart the system (Highly Recommended)

Validate Android Installation:-

Open command  prompt –> type adb (shows android installed properly)
